REFUTATION OF THE BOOKLET: “Authenticity of Salah” - Introduction

REFUTATION OF THE BOOKLET: “Authenticity of Salah”
Introduction:
This is an answer, with what Allah The Most High facilitated, to the english rendering of the concise version of the booklet “Authenticity of Salah” written by Sheikh Mohammed Ilyas Faisal, translated in English by “Moulana” Abdul Qadir Vawda.
I mainly focused on the “so-called authentic” narrations attributed to the Prophet Muhammad (salla Allah aleyhi we sallem), where the author insisted on those narrations to prove that their way of ablutions and prayer is part of the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (salla Allah aleyhi we sallem) spreading the doubt and the ignorance among the youth who want to follow strictly the way of the Prophet (salla Allah aleyhi we sallem) and his Companions (radhee Allah anhom).
I found this booklet in a mosque in Edinburgh (Scotland) and by going through it, I realised why those who pretend to follow Imam Abu Hanifa (rahimuhu Allah) are NOT following the way of the Companions, and in reality they are opposing even the teaching of Imam Abu Hanifa (rahimuhu Allah), but this can also be applied for any others who follow such and such madhab blindly, even if you bring them all the authentic evidences, they would stick on their mistakes that they attribute to one of their Imams.
However, I thought that clarity needs to be set to wipe the misconceptions in some aspects of fiqh that the blind followers of the hanafi madhab follow.
If we understand the way of the Prophet Muhammad (salla Allah aleyhi we sallem), following blindly other than the Prophet Muhammad (salla Allah aleyhi we sallem) will be obvious that this is NOT the way of the Companions.
Allah The Most High says:
"And whoever opposes the Messenger after guidance has become clear to him and follows other than the way of the believers - We will give him what he has taken and drive him into Hell, and evil it is as a destination."
[Surat An Nisa 4 verse 115]
Ali (radhee Allah ‘anhu) said that the Prophet (salla Allah aleyhi we sallem) said:
« Do not lie on me, because who lies on me let him prepare his place in Hellfire » (Reported by Al Bukhari in Kitab el ‘alm, chapter on the one who lie on the Prophet (salla Allah aleyhi we sallem))
Allah The Most High says:
"And in anything over which you disagree - its ruling is [to be referred] to Allah . [Say], "That is Allah , my Lord; upon Him I have relied, and to Him I turn back.""
[Surat As Shura: 42 v. 10]
In any case of disagreement that can occur between the muslims, Allah The Most High commanded us from the seven skies to return to His Book (Qur’an) and to the Sunnah of His Last Prophet and Messenger Muhammad (salla Allah aleyhi we sallem). And if Allah The Most High commanded us to do so, it means that the solution to lift that disagreement IS in the Book and the Sunnah of His Last Prophet and Messenger Muhammad (salla Allah aleyhi we sallem).
Allah The Most High says:
"O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result."
[Surah An Nissa 4 v. 59]
The saying of Allah The Most High: “And if you disagree over anything, return it to Allah and his Messenger”, Mujaheed and others from the Salafs (Righteous Predecessors) said: it means return to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger.
Imam Ibn Kathir (rahimuhu Allah) said in his tafseer:
And this is a command from Allah The Most High
That anything that the people disagree about among the foundation of the religion and its branches, that this disagreement has to be returned to the Book and the Sunnah,
As Allah The Most High said: (meaning of translation) “and if you disagreed over anything its judgment belongs to Allah”
[Surat As Shura 42 v.10]
So whoever judged with the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger and that judgement is authentic, then this is the truth,
And what is after the truth except the misguidance,
الخصومات والجهالات إلى كتاب الله وسنة رسوله، فتحاكموا إليهما فيما شجر بينكم { إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ }
That is why Allah The Most High said (meaning of translation): “if you believe in Allah and the Last Day” which means return the disagreements and ignorances [to be clarified and to end those disagreements and ignorances] to the Book of Allah and to the Sunnah of His Messenger, so judge with them in what you differ and disagree
This is a proof that who does not return to the Book and the Sunnah and does not judge with them, he is not a believer of Allah and of the Last Day.
[see tafseer Ibn Kathir]
However, to find, see and understand that solution and proofs, someone has to be sincere in seeking the truth only, that he wants only the truth and not following his desire which leads him to try to find only what can be accepted for his group, sect or madhhab.
As Allah The Most says:
[We said], "O David, indeed We have made you a successor upon the earth, so judge between the people in truth and do not follow [your own] desire, as it will lead you astray from the way of Allah ." Indeed, those who go astray from the way of Allah will have a severe punishment for having forgotten the Day of Account.
[Surat Sad verse 26]
Hudhayfa ben Al Yamaan (radhee Allah 'anhuh) said:
Any act of worship that the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (salla Allah aleyhi we ala alihi sallem) did not worship Allah with it, do not do it, because, the First did not leave anything (to get closer to Allah) for the Last (to begin to invent act of worship), so fear Allah O my tribes, take the Path of thos who preceded you (i.e. the Companions of the Prophet Mohammed (salla Allah aleyhi we sallem)). [Reported by Ibn Bata in Al Ibaana]
May Allah The Most High makes us that we match the truth and that Allah The Most High accepts that modest research done for His sake only, to show the Authentic Sunnah for those who astrayed or ignore the correct way, ameen.
